Sweden: its own fee card, in kronor, and outside every European surcharge

Amazon.se is not the German store with a currency conversion applied. It runs its own referral fee column and its own krona-denominated schedule, and it sits outside the surcharges that shape costs further south.

The thresholds are set in kronor rather than converted: the minimum referral fee is SEK 3, the clothing and home breakpoints are SEK 175 and SEK 230, and the Professional selling plan is SEK 410 a month against EUR 39 elsewhere. Fulfilment is quoted the same way, at SEK 33.35 for a 20g light envelope and SEK 41.09 at 460g.

Sweden also shares a referral column with nobody. Where the Netherlands sits with Belgium and Ireland, and Germany with France, Italy and Spain, Sweden is on its own card, so a category rate you have checked for another market may not hold here.

No digital services fee, and no inventory surcharges

Sweden has not enacted a digital services tax, so a Swedish-established seller pays no digital services fee. A UK-established seller on Amazon.se pays 2% and a French-established one 3%, which is worth knowing if you are comparing yourself against a cross-border competitor rather than a local one.

On inventory, Sweden is in the clear on all four charges. The storage utilisation and aged inventory surcharges apply only in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The high-return-rate returns processing fee has no Swedish column at all. And the Pan-EU low-inventory fee explicitly excludes Sweden.

Monthly storage is charged in kronor on its own scale, running from SEK 233.59 per cubic metre for clothing-type standard size in the January to September window to SEK 548.18 for standard goods in the October to December peak.

2026 moved Swedish fees down, then partly back up

Amazon's January 2026 package lowered Swedish fees by an average of SEK 1.82 per unit and extended the low-price FBA rate to items at or below SEK 230. Media closing fees here are 11 kronor for books and 9 for other media.

Working against that, the 1.5% fuel and logistics surcharge has applied to FBA fulfilment fees since 17 April 2026. Amazon describes it as temporary and subject to review, but it is in force now and belongs in your figures.
