How this is calculated

A month on Shopify costs the plan's subscription plus a fee on every order: with Shopify Payments, a card rate and a fixed amount that fall as the plan gets dearer and rise for cards from abroad; with another provider, that provider's charge plus Shopify's own transaction fee. The calculator applies your country's published plan prices and rates to your orders and average order value, and prices every plan at the same volume so you can see which one is cheapest for you.

What this does not include

  • Shopify Plus, whose price and card rates are agreed with Shopify.
  • In-person payments with Shopify POS, and the POS Pro subscription.
  • Apps, themes, domains, Shopify Shipping labels, chargebacks and payout fees.
  • VAT, GST or sales tax Shopify adds to its own bill where it charges it.
  • Your provider's own fees beyond the rate and fixed fee you enter.
